Genetic information for Happy Holly of Harbour Lights

The COI (Coefficient of Inbreeding) is calculated up to a maximum of 10 generations. The COI is calculated entirely from the pedigree information present in the database, so if there are inaccuracies in the pedigree, there will also be inaccuracies in the COI. COIs are calculated every 1-2 weeks depending on database activity. As a result, the current COI may not reflect recent pedigree changes. Accuracy of the COI is not guaranteed.

For information on what the COI figure means, see http://www.canine-genetics.com/relation.htm, particularly where it discusses the inbreeding coefficient. For a more complete discussion of genetic principles, visit the Canine Diversity Project.

Since we have a breed that is relatively "new", the Coefficient Of Inbreeding doesn't tell a complete story. As a result, we also present the Ancestor Loss Coefficient. An explanation of this is at: Ancestor-Loss coefficient (AVK)

     0.18750  Robie Surf of Glencoe
0.12500  Happy Holly of Harbour Lights
     0.15630  Nick's Foxy Snooper

     COIAVKOffspringSiblingsAncestors
 0.125000.0244015950

Note: The number of offspring is increased by the number of different test breedings in which this dog is involved. Since the only way to eliminate this would eliminate the COI calculation for the test breedings, it is left. In the future we may try to eliminate this issue.
